No Knivskjellodden today

We didn’t get the sunrise we’d hoped for (and set the alarm for, optimists that we are) and decided that it would be unwise to set off hiking to Knivskjellodden in near zero visibility. Our ‘wild camp’ at the start of the hike was great, in an eerie sort of way, but it lacked facilities and we decided the campsite down the road would be a warmer place to sit it out. Having come this far we aren’t prepared to give up, so we’ve hauled up in the campsite kitchen to catch up on admin (and the blog), read up on what awaits us on the next stages of the trip and await what is forecast to be a sunnier day tomorrow.

The sky cleared briefly, so we hopped up and along the surrounding crags to stretch our legs and admire the best (only) views we’ve had this far north.

And, of course, we had a few visitors to keep us company!
