Goodbye Norway

We had another wild camp – riverside this time – just south of the Dovrefjell and were ready to set off for Oslo in the morning. It was a stunning day and the navigation (almost) faultless, leaving us with time to head up to a viewpoint and admire the city from above, and its epic ski jump up close.

We later descended on our uncle Rob for a very welcome, very Norwegian, dinner and our first real beds of the trip. Thank you Rob! We would have liked to spend longer exploring the city and its surrounds but didn’t have time to abuse the hospitality any longer. On leaving we did at least head through the city to the waterfront for a cuppa and a close-up of the Opera House…

…then we said our goodbyes to Norway and headed for Sweden (again).
